Job Description
Remote part-time Service Representative for Veritas Press, a Christian educational materials provider. Handling customer inquiries, orders, returns, and support across phone, email, and chat.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
- Provide accurate and helpful information regarding products, services, and policies
- Handle and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns professionally and efficiently
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries and provide comprehensive solutions
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture focused on customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Consistent availability to work at least 20 hours per week during regular business hours
- Ability to work at least 4-hour blocks on 5 business days
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus
- Knowledge of Veritas Press and Veritas Scholars Academy is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Customer-focused with a positive and empathetic attitude
- Ability to adapt to changing processes and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in basic computer applications and comfortable using customer service software
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Mandarin is a plus
- Standing or sitting for long periods
- Extensive typing on a QWERTY-style keyboard
- Extensive viewing of lighted computer monitors
- Speaking and hearing
- High school diploma or equivalent; may be waived for talented, classically educated students
- Some college education is preferred
