Job Description
Remote customer representative supporting Consumer Cellular’s wireless subscribers near Oklahoma City. Handling calls, billing questions, and technical troubleshooting from a home office.
Responsibilities:
- Take approximately 4+ customer calls per hour from customers across the USA
- Provide excellent customer service and support
- Explain cellular phones, billing, and general customer questions
- Troubleshoot phone, device, and service issues across multiple screens and systems
- Guide customers through changing SIM cards, downloading apps, adding contacts, and other step-by-step solutions
- Remain available and present throughout the shift except during assigned breaks and lunch
- Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while supporting customers efficiently
- Work collaboratively with teammates and appreciate diverse strengths and talents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 6 months of customer service experience
- Remote customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including general typing, common software applications, and internet navigation
- Internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and 100 Mbps download speeds
- Satellite, Wi-Fi, and cellular data internet providers are not compatible
- Quiet, distraction-free home office setting
- Must reside within 50 miles of a Consumer Cellular facility/Oklahoma City center
- Two monitors required
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
- Friendly attitude, desire to help, and learning-focused attitude
