Job Description
Remote customer service representative supporting Consumer Cellular’s wireless subscribers. Troubleshooting phones, billing, SIM cards, apps, and service issues from a home office.
Responsibilities:
- Take approximately 4+ customer calls per hour from customers across the USA
- Provide customer service and help create positive customer experiences
- Explain cellular phones, billing, and general customer questions
- Troubleshoot phone, device, SIM card, app, contact, and service issues
- Navigate multiple screens and systems while providing step-by-step customer instructions
- Remain available and present throughout the shift except during assigned breaks and lunch
- Maintain an organized, distraction-free work environment
- Collaborate with teammates and appreciate colleagues' differences, strengths, and talents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 6 months of customer service experience required
- Remote customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including general typing, common software applications, and internet navigation
- Internet upload speed of at least 20 Mbps and download speed of at least 100 Mbps
- Internet connection cannot use satellite, Wi-Fi, or cellular data providers
- Quiet, distraction-free home office setting
- Must reside within 50 miles of a Consumer Cellular facility
- Two monitors are necessary
- Friendly, learning-focused attitude
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
