Job Description
Remote customer representative supporting Consumer Cellular’s wireless customers with billing, phones, devices, and service troubleshooting. Handling calls from a home office near Louisville.
Responsibilities:
- Take approximately 4+ customer calls per hour from customers across the USA
- Provide excellent customer service and help customers resolve phone, billing, and general questions
- Troubleshoot cellular phones, devices, and service issues
- Navigate multiple screens and systems while guiding customers through step-by-step solutions
- Assist with changing SIM cards, downloading apps, adding contacts, and complex device or service issues
- Remain available and present throughout the shift except during assigned breaks and lunch
- Work collaboratively with teammates and appreciate diverse strengths and talents
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 6 months of customer service experience required
- Remote customer service experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including general typing, common software applications, and internet navigation
- Internet connection with at least 20 Mbps upload and 100 Mbps download speeds
- Satellite, Wi-Fi, and cellular data internet providers are not compatible
- Quiet, distraction-free home office setting
- Must reside within 50 miles of a CCI facility; this role requires residence within 50 miles of the Louisville center
- Two monitors are necessary
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
