Job Description
Shared Services Contact Center Specialist handling provider inquiries for healthcare services. Offering professional guidance on claims and authorization processes in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls, chats, emails, and faxes from healthcare providers
- Resolve questions related to authorizations, claims, and general provider services
- Document each interaction thoroughly and ensure prompt follow-up
- Guide providers through various processes like checking authorization status and submitting claims
- Provide technical troubleshooting support within the provider portal
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- 2+ years of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service role
- Knowledge of Medicare claims, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and databases accurately
- Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through skills
- Independent problem-solving and decision-making ability
