Job Description

Shared Services Contact Center Specialist handling provider inquiries for healthcare services. Offering professional guidance on claims and authorization processes in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls, chats, emails, and faxes from healthcare providers
  • Resolve questions related to authorizations, claims, and general provider services
  • Document each interaction thoroughly and ensure prompt follow-up
  • Guide providers through various processes like checking authorization status and submitting claims
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support within the provider portal

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare contact center or customer service role
  • Knowledge of Medicare claims, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and databases accurately
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through skills
  • Independent problem-solving and decision-making ability
