Job Description
Part-time remote assistant repurposing financial planning and wealth management videos for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Editing, optimizing, scheduling, and publishing engaging short-form content.
Responsibilities:
- Support management of the company's YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram presence
- Convert long-form YouTube videos into engaging short-form videos and reels
- Use Opus Clip or similar tools to identify and create short-form content
- Perform basic video editing and formatting using Camtasia or similar software
- Create and refine social media content and captions
- Use ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools to optimize scripts, captions, titles, descriptions, and other content
- Research effective posting times and content strategies
- Schedule and publish content across relevant social media platforms
- Develop an efficient and repeatable content production and publishing workflow
- Recommend and potentially implement social media scheduling and management tools
- Collaborate with the business owner to understand preferred style, tone, and approach
- Apply feedback and the owner's personal voice and preferences to final content
- Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's social media presence
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with social media content, video editing, or content management, preferably for a business or professional brand
- Highly proficient in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills
- Experience with YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
- Comfortable working with video content and short-form video
- Familiarity with Camtasia or similar video editing software, or ability to quickly learn similar platforms
- Experience with Opus Clip or similar AI-powered video clipping tools
- Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools to improve content creation and efficiency
- Familiarity with social media posting, scheduling, captions, and content optimization
- Creative and able to understand what makes content engaging
- Organized and able to manage a repeatable content workflow
- Proactive and able to suggest improvements
- Comfortable working independently while taking direction and feedback from the business owner
- Experience working with YouTube content for a business, professional, financial, or personal brand highly advantageous
- Experience managing the workflow from long-form video to short-form clips, captions/optimization, scheduling, and publishing advantageous
- Experience with additional social media management or content scheduling platforms a plus
