Job Description
Social Media Lead driving Kraken Pro content across X, Telegram, and broader social channels. Growing engagement for Kraken, a global crypto trading platform.
Responsibilities:
- Craft platform-native content for X, Telegram, and other social platforms to maximize Kraken Pro's impact and reach
- Identify trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then create timely, on-brand content
- Engage actively with the Kraken Pro audience through replies, quotes, polls, memes, and meaningful conversations
- Build and maintain an always-on content calendar
- Create posts, route them for approvals, schedule and publish them, and monitor performance
- Translate product and ecosystem news into clear, compelling narratives
- Track social growth and performance, and iterate based on insights and experiments
- Partner with Legal and Communications to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms
Requirements:
- 3+ years in social or content, ideally fintech, crypto, or trading
- Portfolio of successful social posts on a brand account, personal account, or account managed by the candidate
- Ability to move quickly and work under pressure
- High AI competency
- Ability to create copy, memes, short-form video, charts, and threads
- Comfort handling high-paced social channels
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Creative and detail-oriented
- Ability to produce visually appealing content, including briefing design teams, using Figma, or using CapCut
- Ability to work responsibly with Legal and Communications on compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging
