Job Description
Social Media Lead driving Kraken Pro social channels for Kraken, a global crypto trading platform. Creating reactive content, engaging traders, and optimizing always-on publishing.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Kraken Pro social channels
- Craft platform-native content for X, Telegram, and other platforms
- Identify trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social
- Rapidly create timely, on-brand content
- Engage with the Kraken Pro audience through replies, quotes, polls, and memes
- Build and maintain an always-on content calendar
- Create posts, route them for approval, schedule, publish, and monitor performance
- Translate product and ecosystem news into clear narratives
- Track growth and performance and iterate based on insights and experiments
- Partner with Legal and Communications to ensure compliant, accurate, and aligned messaging across regions and platforms
Requirements:
- 3+ years in social or content, ideally fintech, crypto, or trading
- Portfolio of successful posts on a brand account, personal account, or managed account
- Ability to work quickly under pressure
- Copywriting, meme creation, short-form video, chart, and thread creation skills
- Comfortable handling high-paced social channels
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Creative and detail-oriented
- Ability to produce visually appealing content by briefing a design team, using Figma, or using CapCut
