Job Description
Social Media Manager at Roofr responsible for social and influencer strategy. Collaborating with teams to drive brand awareness and engage online customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube. This includes overseeing all strategy, filming and editing video content, and working with the Design team for static posts.
- Identify unique sponsorship and influencer opportunities, owning outreach, contract creation, and influencer management.
- Strategize, plan, and execute social media contests and giveaways.
- Own the social media calendar (7-10 weekly posts per channel) including video creation, art direction, caption writing and visual creation.
- Get creative with converting blogs, webinars, and other content into social posts.
- Leveraging our company mascot, Roofus, in videos and social content.
- Stay on top of trends and post timely videos that will resonate with our audience.
- Travel to trade shows and Roofr hosted events across Canada and USA to capture content (passport required).
- Promptly respond to comments and messages on all social channels to answer questions and keep users engaged.
- Learn the Roofr CRM, and engage with comments online about our product.
- Edit videos.
- Report social metrics on a weekly basis and run tests to identify what drives growth, and adjust the strategy accordingly.
- Boosting strategic posts to drive following, engagement, MQLs, etc.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure timely and creative posts for campaigns, product launches, events, special announcements, hiring, etc.
- Work with the Community Manager to expand the Roofr online network.
- Project management in Asana, and owning the internal library (Notion).
- Additional content and social media ad-hoc work as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or blue collar experience
- 5+ years of experience as a social media manager, including experience overseeing spend/budget, and growing social channels
- 2+ years experience managing influencers and online partnerships
- A killer personal social media presence and/or proven experience growing a professional social media account
- Experience creating social campaigns, and executing independently
- SEO/AEO knowledge for YouTube and other social channels
- Creativity, imagination, humor, and attention to detail
- Comfortable putting your face online for the Roofr brand and acting as Roofus, our brand mascot
- Experience or significant interest in roofing, technology, or construction
