Job Description
Reddit Social Media Manager building Jerry’s authority across automotive and finance communities. Creating trusted content and insights for Jerry’s AI-powered car-ownership platform.
Responsibilities:
- Own Jerry’s official presence across Reddit, including brand-owned subreddits and organic engagement in automotive, financial, and consumer communities
- Establish Jerry’s Reddit voice and community playbook
- Create informative text posts, deep-dive guides, and visual breakdowns about car ownership, insurance savings, and maintenance
- Manage reputation and crisis response in threads discussing Jerry
- Track karma growth, thread sentiment, share of voice, referral traffic, search indexability, and LLM citations
- Feed Reddit insights, car-owner pain points, and trending topics to Product and Content teams
Requirements:
- 2+ years managing organic social or community strategy, with a heavy emphasis on Reddit
- Experience ideally within consumer tech, fintech, or insurtech, or a demonstrated track record of growing other types of social accounts
- Deep understanding of karma, subreddit dynamics, automods, shadowbans, and Reddit community norms
- Ability to write naturally for Redditors and avoid corporate-speak
- Understanding of how Reddit content feeds into Google SGE, LLMs, and organic SEO
- Ability to handle public pushback, skepticism, and tough questions with grace, humor, and honesty
- Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
