Job Description
Software Engineer joining Toro TMS to build best-in-class transportation management software. Contributing to a remote team and solving challenging problems for users while being mentored by experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:
- We are growing our fully remote Engineering team and looking for an entrepreneurial, product-minded Software Engineer to join our team.
- The right person will be driven, curious, and have a builder's mentality.
- Joining Toro TMS means becoming a partner in solving interesting, challenging problems for our users.
- This person will also be mentored by a team of exceptionally experienced engineers.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with both Ruby on Rails and React
- Experience working in a remote-first environment
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping web-based software products
- Ability and desire to build fast and ship features on a daily / weekly basis
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take direction and feedback from senior team members
- Strong desire to learn about the trucking industry, meet with customers, learn about their businesses and workflows
- Empathy for users and teammates
- Located in the United States
