Job Description
Software Patent Agent managing patent portfolio and applications for early-stage tech companies. Collaborating with engineering and legal teams, with optional involvement in business development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in patent portfolio management and development efforts
- Draft and prosecute patent applications
- Collaborate closely with clients' teams
- Participate in business development and networking initiatives
Requirements:
- Registered USPTO Patent Agent
- 4+ years as a patent agent
- Experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or software disciplines
- Ability to draft and review utility and design patent applications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to self-direct and manage responsibilities
