Job Description

Solutions Architect designing secure healthcare technology integrations for Medical Informatics Corp.’s patient-monitoring platform. Advising clients across discovery, implementation, customer success, and product innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, prospective clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with Sales and Account Executives on consultative discovery, technical discussions, and product demonstrations
  • Identify and document customer pain points, desired outcomes, technical requirements, decision criteria, timelines, stakeholders, and risks
  • Contribute clinical and technical expertise to presentations, proposals, RFP responses, security assessments, and technical questionnaires
  • Assess client healthcare data ecosystems, system architecture, interface design, interoperability, AI, IoT, and predictive analytics environments
  • Validate technical requirements with client stakeholders and internal MIC teams
  • Advise on networking, security, authentication, user provisioning, interfaces, integrations, and data requirements
  • Develop and maintain architecture, interface, data-requirement, risk, dependency, and technical-decision documentation
  • Provide on-site technical support, including interface troubleshooting, log review, certificate installation, and integration issue resolution
  • Facilitate structured handoffs to Implementation and support successful deployments and customer adoption
  • Communicate customer requirements, challenges, success criteria, and opportunities to internal teams
  • Identify additional use cases, integrations, deployment opportunities, and account-growth opportunities
  • Provide product-development and roadmap input based on customer needs, standards, regulatory requirements, scalability, and market trends
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Analytics, AI, and Implementation teams on custom projects and integrations
  • Manage multiple sales opportunities, projects, and client initiatives while maintaining accurate documentation and prioritizing work
  • Work independently in a remote environment and travel to client locations and business-related events as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or clinical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Eight or more years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical technology, clinical informatics, or a related healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer networks, systems architecture, and technical integrations
  • Experience with security, authentication, and user-provisioning requirements
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex clinical and technical information for technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and working independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% and work periodically outside standard business hours
  • Master’s degree in clinical engineering, clinical informatics, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with medical devices or Software as a Medical Device preferred
  • Knowledge of HL7, healthcare interfaces, or other healthcare interoperability standards preferred
  • Experience with clinical workflows, healthcare data flows, or electronic medical record and clinical information systems preferred
  • Experience with web and cloud architecture preferred
  • Experience supporting analytics, research, AI, or data-driven healthcare projects preferred
  • Experience with complex enterprise software implementations or technical sales preferred
  • Successful candidates must complete a background investigation
