Job Description
Solutions Engineer helping Cisco and Splunk enterprises evaluate and scale trustworthy GenAI systems. Leading technical discovery, demos, architectures, and customer AI Proofs of Concept.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery and architectural alignment with enterprise AI architects, data science leaders, and executive decision-makers
- Evaluate customers’ Generative AI stacks and agentic observability requirements
- Deliver technical demonstrations and customized reference architectures
- Showcase real-time LLM benchmarking, multi-agent evaluation, tokenomics optimization, and automated safety guardrails
- Own end-to-end scoping, technical milestones, and execution of customer Proofs of Concept
- Establish definitive technical wins and accelerate sales cycles
- Bridge enterprise field engagements with Cisco/Splunk Product and Engineering teams
- Synthesize customer feedback to guide product roadmap priorities
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in technical pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or customer-facing technical consulting within AI/ML, data analytics, or enterprise software
- Experience or knowledge building, deploying, or architecting workflows with agentic orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Crew AI, AutoGen, or equivalent tools
- Experience with Generative AI architectures, including RAG, tool calling/function execution, multi-agent coordination, latency optimization, and LLM failure modes such as hallucinations, bias, and prompt injection
- Minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent experience scoping, instrumenting, and executing technical PoCs to a definitive win
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex AI concepts to ML practitioners and C-suite executives
- Ability to travel 15%–25% for on-site customer workshops, Executive Briefing Centers, and industry conferences
- Proficiency in Python or TypeScript preferred
- Experience with Pandas, Streamlit, LangChain, HuggingFace, or OpenAI SDK preferred
- Experience rapidly prototyping externally facing agentic applications, interactive demos, or production AI workflows preferred
- Prior professional experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or Software Engineer preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical professional experience, preferred
