Job Description
Solutions Engineer helping Akamai customers adopt Akamai's cloud and cybersecurity technologies. Managing technical presales, proposals, demonstrations, and customer solution design.
Responsibilities:
- Grow revenue and acquire new business by evangelizing Akamai's technology to existing and prospective customers
- Manage the technical proposal process and ensure technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate
- Engage with customers during the sales cycle to gather requirements and develop proposals, designs, deliveries, demos, and proof-of-concepts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen customer relationships and serve as the go-to person for technical queries
- Build customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Deliver innovative solutions using Akamai's Cloud and Cybersecurity technologies
Requirements:
- Experience in a technical pre-sales/sales engineering, consulting, or customer-facing role delivering technical products or services
- Knowledge of cloud and Internet technologies
- Knowledge of security solutions, compute, content delivery, and web architecture, including DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and TLS
- Interpersonal savvy and a passion for solving problems
- Customer-focused mindset
- Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies
- Ability to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-changing environment
- Fluency in both Swedish and English
