Job Description

Staff ServiceNow engineer improving CMDB quality and ATF automation for Nagarro, a digital product engineering company. Testing platform releases, integrations, assets, compliance, and security controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow ATF
  • Validate ServiceNow platform functionality across releases, enhancements, and configurations
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities
  • Ensure CMDB data quality and support data hygiene initiatives across the platform
  • Validate Asset Management, Compliance, Auditing, and Security Control processes
  • Test and validate integrations with third-party systems and applications
  • Support ServiceNow upgrade and clone activities, including impact assessment and testing
  • Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation
  • Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
  • Provide testing sign-off and quality assurance recommendations for production deployments
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve platform quality and stability
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for ServiceNow QE processes and test automation
  • Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards, governance, and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform testing and quality assurance processes
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) is mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of CMDB concepts, data governance, and data hygiene best practices
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using ATF
  • Good understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals and core functionalities
  • Experience with Asset Management processes and ServiceNow Asset Management modules
  • Knowledge of Compliance, Auditing, Access Management, and Security Controls within ServiceNow
  • Hands-on experience testing integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, or Integration Hub
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades, clone activities, and post-upgrade validation testing
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies
  • Ability to independently drive QE initiatives and establish testing best practices
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • CSA certification or relevant ServiceNow certifications are an added advantage
