Job Description
Staff ServiceNow engineer improving CMDB quality and ATF automation for Nagarro, a digital product engineering company. Testing platform releases, integrations, assets, compliance, and security controls.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow ATF
- Validate ServiceNow platform functionality across releases, enhancements, and configurations
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities
- Ensure CMDB data quality and support data hygiene initiatives across the platform
- Validate Asset Management, Compliance, Auditing, and Security Control processes
- Test and validate integrations with third-party systems and applications
- Support ServiceNow upgrade and clone activities, including impact assessment and testing
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables
- Provide testing sign-off and quality assurance recommendations for production deployments
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve platform quality and stability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for ServiceNow QE processes and test automation
- Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards, governance, and best practices
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform testing and quality assurance processes
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of CMDB concepts, data governance, and data hygiene best practices
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using ATF
- Good understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals and core functionalities
- Experience with Asset Management processes and ServiceNow Asset Management modules
- Knowledge of Compliance, Auditing, Access Management, and Security Controls within ServiceNow
- Hands-on experience testing integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, or Integration Hub
- Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades, clone activities, and post-upgrade validation testing
- Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies
- Ability to independently drive QE initiatives and establish testing best practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- CSA certification or relevant ServiceNow certifications are an added advantage
