Job Description
Accounting/Finance Intern at AffirmedRx gaining real-world experience in financial analysis, accounting operations, and collaborating with the finance team on various tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in analyzing financial data and providing insights
- Support the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Help with accounts payable/receivable processes
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes
- Work closely with various departments to support financial operations
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software and tools
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
