Job Description
VP of Finance providing leadership and oversight of financial operations at Global Charter Services. Overseeing cash management, reporting, and compliance activities for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and oversight of the company’s financial operations.
- Oversee cash management, financial reporting and close processes, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Coordinate with external tax professionals to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Review customer and vendor contracts for financial implications and business risk considerations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and regulatory requirements and strengthen internal financial controls.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 7–10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and working capital management.
- Experience coordinating with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Experience reviewing contracts and evaluating pricing structures.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
