Job Description
Supply Chain Analyst transforming Advocate Health’s ERP and EHR data into dashboards, KPIs, and predictive insights. Modernizing healthcare supply chain reporting and operational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data from healthcare supply chain sources, including ERP and EHR systems
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for KPIs and supply chain metrics
- Lead relationships with cross-functional teams to identify reporting needs and gaps
- Build and iterate reporting tools using ERP-delivered reporting, third-party solutions, Tableau, and Power BI
- Advocate for proper use and interpretation of reporting findings
- Meet with end users to refine use cases and improve reporting tools
- Translate end-user comments and business needs into actionable development steps
- Maintain data security and privacy standards
- Manage projects involving development of data sources and reporting tools
- Track project work and report progress to managers
- Streamline workflows and reduce operational inefficiencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, or 3 years of direct relevant work experience in healthcare supply chain in lieu of a degree
- Typically 3 years of experience in contracting, group purchasing organization, procurement, or healthcare supply chain
- Non-healthcare industry experience considered in lieu of direct healthcare experience
- Strong Excel capabilities
- Some development ability in Tableau or Power BI
- Strong communication skills for translating analytical insights into business recommendations
- Ability to translate customer problems into data needs and analytical views
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Ability to own projects from ideation to completion with little oversight
- License/Registration/Certification: None required
- Ability to maintain data security and privacy compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices
- Limited travel required
