Job Description

Parts Supply Chain & Logistics Manager at GM managing supply chain and logistics for non-vehicle products in Europe. Focus on operational excellence and performance improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supply and flow of GM Parts, Accessories and Merchandise in Europe by devising the strategy and implementing operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure Contracted partners are aligned with the business requirements; monitor performance KPIs and engage them on corrective actions as needed
  • Review processes periodically with cross-functional teams to ensure optimization of resources and deliver high level of customer satisfaction
  • Manage KPIs to ensure that Service Levels are maintained
  • Review invoices periodically to ensure compliance with the contract
  • Expedite and follow-up Purchase Orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Create Quarterly and Monthly Demand Forecast at the part level to inform order and stocking management
  • Daily analysis of demand trend and adjusting of planning parameters
  • Monitor stock movement in systems and plan delivery of materials, ensuring no stock out situations
  • Lead Aftersales’ compliance with physical inventory monitoring and management, including physical audits.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning and Forecasting
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Understanding of multiple Demand Forecasting, Supply Chain Metrics and Continuous Improvement Techniques
  • Proven track-record to deliver multi-million EUR Operational Efficiency improvements
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
  • An ability to lead cross-function initiatives and perform in a dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Independent Drive for Business Impact and Results
  • Ability to think strategically and wholistically, to determine high level Strategies and to execute them operationally
  • Timely decision making
  • Business travel required Quarterly
  • Strong computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Fluent in English; French and German are strong preferences.
