Job Description
Provide regional leadership in supply chain logistics for Medline. Oversee a team to enhance distribution deals and maintain customer relations in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Provide regional leadership support to Logistic Specialist, Manager and Directors.
- Oversee a team of logistic specialists, managers and directors to provide guidance.
- Maintain positive relationship with regional customer base by coordinating, monitoring and managing projects related to supply chain logistics.
- Conduct business review with established customers and identify trends.
- Provide expertise and guidance in establishing logistical requirements to help support the RFP process and presentation.
- Participate in the long-term business strategy for assigned territory.
- Spearhead efficiency and improvement initiatives for logistic support services around customer management.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of overall experience within Sales to include Logistic consulting experience and Supply Chain experience in the healthcare industry.
- At least 4 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
- Experience negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and/or reconciling differences.
- Proficiency in project management and exposure to sales environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
- Ability communicating technical information to non-technical audiences (ex. research findings to customers).
