Job Description

Energy sustainability professional leading efficiency, renewable energy, and compliance programs. Advising JLL commercial real estate clients and coordinating integrated sustainability solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead energy management programs across a dynamic real estate portfolio
  • Identify and advance renewable energy opportunities from data analysis through client approval
  • Pursue utility rebates and government incentive programs
  • Monitor energy consumption and optimize Building Management Systems
  • Advise clients on energy supply, demand, and performance reporting
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and manage timely, accurate submissions
  • Develop and present business cases for energy reduction initiatives and pilot projects
  • Maintain energy action plans in Envizi, tracking costs, savings, and verified outcomes
  • Partner with JLL Real Estate, Finance, Projects, Facilities Management, and Procurement teams
  • Build relationships with client stakeholders through governance and communication
  • Champion energy and sustainability program success stories
  • Support ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 audits and regulatory assessments
  • Liaise between corporate sustainability teams and on-the-ground facilities management
  • Ensure operations comply with environmental legislation and company standards

Requirements:

  • Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is essential
  • Familiarity with energy management and environmental or sustainability reporting frameworks
  • Genuine interest in renewable energy and efficiency outcomes within commercial real estate
  • Administration and communication skills with a strong customer service focus
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Exposure to building services maintenance and facilities management
  • Ability to handle multiple issues concurrently within tight operational deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and active listening
  • Highly organised and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Efficient keyboard and data entry skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Internet research
  • Ability to grasp new concepts
  • Excellent client service and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or a related field preferable
