Job Description
Tech Lead Java construindo plataforma de crédito CaaS para fintech. Liderando arquitetura, código e evolução de sistemas financeiros de alto volume transacional.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical authority for Java back-end development and make decisions on architecture, best practices, and coding standards
- Design and evolve the architecture of the credit platform (CaaS), from origination through portfolio management
- Define technical solutions in partnership with product, security, and architecture teams
- Lead code reviews, deployments, and architecture decisions focused on scalability
- Ensure quality, performance, and resilience through testing, logging, and observability
- Code alongside the team day to day, unblocking deliveries and resolving impediments
- Provide technical guidance to the team and mentor software developers
- Support technical onboarding, squad formation, and the engineering culture
- Lead meetings with clients and stakeholders, translating technical issues into business impact
- Build and evolve complex financial journeys, including digital accounts, payments, and white-label integrations
- Continuously improve development and quality processes
- Identify technical risks and propose preventive solutions
Requirements:
- Proven experience building a credit platform or system (CaaS) from the ground up, with direct involvement in technical decisions and implementation
- Strong experience as a Tech Lead or technical authority on Java back-end teams, while remaining hands-on
- Proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and system integrations
- Track record with high-volume transaction financial systems, including PIX, SPB, Open Finance, or bank reconciliation
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ) and event-driven architectures
- Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and regression testing
- Strong communication skills and conflict-management abilities
- Hands-on, collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership
- Nice to have: experience with the credit ecosystem; information security applied to financial systems; OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect; cloud environments, preferably AWS; BACEN, Open Finance, or OpenID certifications; and white-label projects or integrations across multiple brands
