Job Description
Senior Java full-stack developer building scalable AI-driven applications for Spyrosoft, a software engineering company. Developing Java/Spring Boot backends, React or Angular frontends, REST APIs, and cloud deployments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end full stack solutions using Java/Spring Boot and Angular/React
- Design and implement scalable REST APIs and backend services
- Build modern, user-focused frontend applications
- Integrate and optimize AI-powered solutions, including LLMs and AI agents
- Collaborate on architecture, technical design, and best engineering practices
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and cloud-based deployments using Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Work closely with international, cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions
- Participate in the design, development, and evolution of scalable applications and architectural discussions
- Freelance engagement for a 12-month project duration
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+
- Very good knowledge of Spring Boot and the modern Spring ecosystem
- Commercial experience in frontend development
- Strong practical experience with Angular and/or React
- Commercial experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Commercial experience working with AI solutions
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, or agentic AI solutions in professional projects
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
- Proven experience building and integrating REST APIs
- Solid understanding of modern application architectures
- Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in international teams
- Nice to have: AI tools, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code, Docker and/or Kubernetes, Kafka or event-driven technologies, AI frameworks/orchestration/APIs/RAG, German language skills, and financial services, banking, or FinTech experience
