Job Description
Part-time Technical Advisor evaluating solutions and advising DOE and DoD mission-critical projects. Developing analyses, recommendations, and compliant deliverables for complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Perform technical evaluations, analyses, and assessments to support project and program objectives
- Review technical documentation, plans, and deliverables for accuracy and compliance with applicable requirements
- Develop recommendations and solutions to address technical and operational challenges
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to support project execution
- Analyze data and provide insights supporting decision-making and performance improvement
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical input as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable DOE, regulatory, and organizational requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to developing and implementing best practices
- Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting client engagements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 20 years of experience in technical advisory services, engineering, consulting, or a related field
- Working knowledge of technical analysis, problem-solving, and advisory methodologies
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. citizenship
- Preferred: Experience supporting DOE programs or federal contracting environments
- Preferred: Experience in technical consulting, engineering analysis, or program support
- Preferred: Familiarity with project management, data analysis, or modeling tools
