Job Description

Technical Officer supporting NIWL social media project communications and content creation. Conducting outreach and delivering messaging across various platforms until August.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the creation and delivery of social media content, organizational materials and announcements, events and other deliverables pertaining to project communications.
  • Focusing on developing and delivering clear, concise and coordinated messaging across multiple communications vehicles and on fostering opportunities to raise the profile of the projects.
  • Working across all communications platforms, including email, website, and social media platforms.
  • Ensuring quality, maintains brand alignment, and delivers smooth content production from start to finish.
  • Planning and coordinating meetings and events as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program at a college or university, or recently awarded a Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in English, Communications, Design, Education, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or Related Field.
  • 2+ years of writing, editing, and publications experience.
  • Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Spanish, Polish, or Kannada language skills are a plus.
  • Experience with Canva, WordPress, and/or Drupal a plus.
