Job Description

Technical Sales Manager responsible for driving sales growth in France through strategic customer engagement. Focused on Fluke Networks and Fluke Process Instruments products while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new bookings by creating end-user demand, strategically planning territory coverage with partners, and implementing strategies for rapid market share growth.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, strong business insight, and the ability to influence, organize, and build demand, relationships, and winning strategies.
  • Actively promote Fluke products to achieve sales quotas through relationship building, training, support, and end-user engagement.
  • Develop expertise as the local authority on Fluke products, solutions, and applications.
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to prepare proposals, deliver product demonstrations, provide training, and address customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage the sales funnel through consistent prospect follow-up.
  • Combine technical knowledge with persuasive communication skills to effectively position Fluke solutions.
  • Work remotely from a home office while traveling to customer sites within the territory (standard week : expect 2 days home office 3 days traveling).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end users by offering tailored solutions using Fluke’s equipment, software, and services.
  • Leverage internal Fluke support teams to maximize territory growth and customer success.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that meet or exceed targets within an assigned territory.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining customer relationships through exceptional service and support.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully balance the achievement of short-term objectives (quarterly orders/sales objectives, expense management, etc.) with longer-term strategic goals.
  • Demonstrate reliability, empathy and teamwork by supporting colleagues, fostering open communication and contributing to collective success.
  • Solid technical aptitude with the ability to clearly explain product capabilities and guide customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and its products.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Be based in France (Area “Ile de France” Preferred).
