Job Description
Technical Support Analyst supporting CSC Corptax software customers remotely across the United States. Troubleshooting Microsoft enterprise systems, documenting cases, and testing product releases.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical case support through online cases, phone, email, chat, and other current support tools for Corptax customers and internal teams
- Understand customer needs and provide personalized support based on expertise and customer requirements
- Respond to intermediate-level technical inquiries and provide appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment
- Work under defined guidelines with moderate supervision and confirm conclusions with senior team members before execution
- Document customer issues and solutions in the Corptax case tracking system
- Review knowledge base solutions to maintain resource quality and digital support capabilities
- Develop technical proficiency in all Corptax products
- Perform release testing of customer scenarios before and after Corptax product releases
- Triage new product releases and identify potential software enhancements
- Assist with assigned projects
- Learn new technology and experiment with internal efficiency solutions
- Demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct
- Promote cooperation and collaboration within the support team and across CSC business units
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage and occasional weekend overtime as required by customer needs
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of relevant software support experience
- Experience ideally with Microsoft systems including Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, and SharePoint
- Exposure to automation, packaging, and monitoring tools such as Ansible, PowerAutomate, SailPoint, Elastic, SSCM, Microsoft Intune, and APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology field preferred, or relevant experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft products
- Ability to quickly learn Corptax technologies
- Ability to accurately and completely document case information in Corptax case tracking software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Moderate conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement
- High standards of customer service, honesty, and integrity
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday during 9–6 EST, 8–5 CST, or 7–4 MST schedules
- Must be available for rotating on-call coverage and occasional weekend overtime
- Not eligible for employment visa sponsorship, including H-1B, TN, or E-3, now or in the future
