Job Description
Tender Manager responsible for managing technical tenders in charging infrastructure. Working for elexon, a company focused on electric mobility solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Independent overall responsibility for technical tenders from private and public clients in the charging infrastructure sector
- Handling of tender documents with end-to-end responsibility
- Cross-functional leadership during tender processes, coordinating Sales, Operations, Engineering and Procurement
- Screening tender platforms for suitable opportunities
- Preparing decision papers for management on whether to participate in tenders
- Communication with tender platforms and clients in accordance with procurement regulations
- Joint development of standards and templates for tenders together with the specialist departments
Requirements:
- Vocational or university degree in a technical discipline
- Practical experience in tender management, project management, technical sales or a comparable field (at least 3 years)
- Deep knowledge of electrical and energy engineering, ideally in the area of charging infrastructure
- Practical experience with large infrastructure construction projects is an advantage
- German language skills in written and spoken at native level
- Business-fluent English
- Strong affinity for software tools used for proposal preparation, (agile) project management and tender platforms
