Job Description

Technical Writer responsible for reviewing and editing E-learning materials at TaskUs. Collaborating with the E-learning team to produce high-quality content and learning experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit materials for quality and consistency
  • Write content including storyboards, facilitator guides, supplementary training materials, process and policy documents, video scripts, assessments, and email communications
  • Review the E-learning team’s output in all identified review stages
  • Complete reviews according to project timelines and requirements
  • Edit all learning content to maintain a high-quality standard in line with the TaskUs E-learning Style Guide and company’s brand identity
  • Evaluate writers, designers, and media developers’ adherence to quality standards
  • Participate in calibration sessions to ensure alignment with team’s standards
  • Maintain task and project trackers by regularly entering updates
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss wins, challenges, and opportunities for improvement, especially from a content quality standpoint

Requirements:

  • At least one year of work experience related to training, education, editing, copywriting, or other related fields
  • Solid understanding of the technicalities of the English language
  • Excellent comprehension and exemplary communication skills (particularly in written communication)
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Adaptable to new software and technology, such as media authoring tools and web apps
  • Ability to work well with peers, management, and other departments in a professional manner
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and manage one’s time
  • Experience (but not required) in training or education
  • Degree and/or certifications in journalism, professional writing, English teaching, technical writing, communication arts, mass communications, or marketing
  • Industry-recognized editorial certifications or designations
