Job Description
BIM trainer delivering Smart Building and digital building-model education for WBS TRAINING. Teaching BIM principles, LOD, data quality, and information flows remotely from Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver subject-specific instruction remotely from home via WBS LearnSpace 3D®
- Provide a comprehensive overview of BIM principles, terminology, and applications throughout the entire building lifecycle
- Use a range of teaching methods, including practical case studies and group work
- Explain Levels of Detail (LOD), data quality requirements, and information flows
- Prepare and develop curriculum-aligned instructional learning materials
- Conduct competency assessments
- Support participants’ skills development and professional integration
Requirements:
- Completed degree in architecture, civil engineering, facility management, real estate management, or a comparable field
- Strong practical and methodological knowledge of BIM
- Experience with digital building models, LOD concepts, and BIM applications across different lifecycle phases
- Excellent communication skills
- Initial experience in internal training, continuing education, or presenting case studies
- Pedagogical qualification (AEVO)
- Strong methodological and didactic skills for delivering educational content
- Independent, structured approach to work, with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Very good command of German, the language of instruction (C2 level)
