Job Description

Contract UKG Pro consultant helping HRchitect clients implement and optimize HR, payroll, and talent systems. Supporting configuration, testing, documentation, and client success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of UKG Pro solutions
  • Facilitate client discovery sessions to understand business requirements, current processes, and desired outcomes
  • Translate client requirements into UKG Pro configurations and recommendations
  • Provide functional expertise across UKG HR & Payroll, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Coaching & Development, and employee development workflows
  • Develop and maintain configuration workbooks, requirements documentation, testing materials, decision logs, and other project documentation
  • Guide clients through system testing, issue identification, and resolution
  • Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions and train-the-trainer support
  • Identify scope concerns, risks, dependencies, and potential change requests, escalating them to project leadership
  • Partner with Project Managers, Implementation Managers, integration resources, and other functional consultants
  • Maintain accurate and timely time entries, project updates, and documentation
  • Support multiple client engagements while managing priorities, deadlines, and commitments
  • Participate in client meetings and internal project discussions
  • Support payroll unit testing, parallel testing, and validation activities
  • Review payroll test results, identify discrepancies, and support resolution efforts
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for Payroll and HR modules
  • Assist with data validation and reconciliation to ensure payroll and HR data integrity

Requirements:

  • Experienced UKG Pro Consultant
  • Up-to-date UKG implementation certification for Talent, HR & Payroll modules preferred
  • Prior consulting or professional-services experience preferred
  • Experience working with UKG Pro Core and understanding how employee data supports Talent functionality preferred
  • Experience with UKG Pro reporting, security roles, business processes, notifications, and integrations related to Talent preferred
  • Experience supporting clients through implementation, post-go-live stabilization, or system optimization preferred
  • Familiarity with structured implementation methodologies and project governance preferred
  • Independent contractor engagement
  • Maintain timely communication and meet agreed-upon project deadlines
  • Follow HRchitect’s delivery standards, documentation requirements, security practices, and client-communication protocols
