Job Description

Provider compensation consultant designing compliant, market-aligned programs for Providence, a multi-state healthcare organization. Advising leaders and analyzing provider pay plans, acquisitions, and renewals.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape and manage provider compensation programs
  • Design fair, competitive compensation structures aligned with strategic initiatives, fair market value, and commercial reasonableness
  • Develop and implement compensation plans reflecting market benchmarks, organizational sustainability, and legal compliance
  • Advise leadership on strategic workforce planning
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, compliance, and operational leaders
  • Guide communication and education efforts for providers and stakeholders
  • Manage compliance risk and regulatory adherence
  • Support recruitment, retention, and performance initiatives
  • Gather and analyze data
  • Conduct CPT coding reviews
  • Create proformas
  • Develop reports
  • Perform provider market analysis
  • Model plans for newly hired physicians, acquisitions, and contract renewals
  • Participate on implementation teams for new acquisitions brought onto the system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related area
  • 3 years of experience in progressively responsible roles
  • Demonstrated compensation design experience
  • Finance experience
  • Physician practice management experience
  • Strong project/change management skills
  • Experience with Human Resources, Contracting and Business Intelligence Software preferred
  • Experience with data reporting and analytics tools preferred
