Job Description
Vice President of Operations providing leadership for manufacturing excellence in the healthcare industry. Ensuring operational effectiveness and quality standards while developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction and focus to ensure operational excellence for manufacturing facilities
- Responsible for managing a team of Directors of Operations
- Champions quality policy and vision
- Accountable for quality standards across the product category
- Champions continuous improvement activities
- Collaborates with colleagues to identify best practices and drives policies across operations
- Leads and manages the annual budget planning process
- Provides in-depth analysis of financial performance of manufacturing facilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering or similar technical discipline
- 8-10 years senior management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industry with multiple plant leadership preferred
- Proven track record of managing operations teams, building high-performance manufacturing organizations and delivering high quality products on time and on budget
- Proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment through implementation of and expertise with lean manufacturing methodologies
- Demonstrated business acumen with understanding of the P&L and balance sheet
