Job Description
Ehrenamtliche Social-Media-Redaktion für einen bundesweiten humanistischen Verband. Betreuung von Instagram, Facebook und LinkedIn sowie Entwicklung redaktioneller Inhalte und Formate.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and further develop social media communications on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Regularly monitor selected social media accounts in the humanist, civil society, and sociopolitical spheres
- Identify suitable content for reposts and other editorial work
- Research relevant topics, current debates, and awareness days
- Develop ideas for original social media content and formats
- Prepare and create posts, Stories, and Reels
- Adapt content for target audiences on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Create and adapt graphics and simple videos, for example using Canva
- Support editorial planning
- Contribute your own ideas and experience to the continued development of social media communications
- Work closely with the national office
Requirements:
- Practical experience with social media and a good understanding of platform-appropriate content and formats
- Experience creating or managing social media content professionally, as a volunteer, for personal channels, associations, initiatives, or projects
- A good sense for relevant topics, engaging content, and current social media formats
- Interest in sociopolitical issues and identification with humanist values and human rights
- Strong language skills and excellent written and spoken German
- Proficiency with common digital tools
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style
- Experience with Canva or comparable applications is an advantage
- Additional experience with Reels and short-form video, community management, social media strategy, or social media analytics is an advantage
