Job Description
VP leading budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for Axia Women’s Health, a multi-state women’s healthcare network. Supporting executive decisions, acquisitions, revenue performance, and finance team development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecast, and long-range financial planning processes
- Develop and maintain three-statement models, cash flow forecasts, scenario analyses, and strategic planning models
- Deliver variance analyses and forward-looking financial insights for executive decision-making
- Partner with operational, clinical, and corporate leaders to evaluate performance, risks, opportunities, and priorities
- Monitor performance against internal KPIs and external market benchmarks
- Lead Board, private equity sponsor, executive leadership, and lender reporting packages
- Prepare executive presentations and financial analyses for strategic initiatives and business planning
- Oversee revenue recognition and Accounts Receivable subledger reconciliation with the General Ledger
- Analyze revenue trends, cash flow, operating expenses, profitability, and improvement opportunities
- Advise operational and corporate leaders by translating financial data into actionable insights
- Research industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors affecting performance
- Support financial due diligence, pro forma analyses, purchase accounting adjustments, and finance integration for acquisitions
- Lead reporting and consolidation of physician and variable compensation programs
- Build relationships across Finance, Operations, Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Information Technology, and corporate functions
- Lead, mentor, coach, and develop Finance team members
- Enhance planning, reporting, forecasting, analytical processes, financial systems, and reporting tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related finance leadership roles
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance professionals and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis
- Strong business acumen connecting financial performance to operational outcomes
- Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of healthcare financial operations, revenue cycle, and key performance indicators
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence business decisions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
- Experience with enterprise financial systems and reporting technologies
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Healthcare, private equity-backed, or multi-site service organization experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms preferred
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Experience supporting lender reporting, cash flow forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, and post-acquisition financial integration preferred
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must verify identity and employment eligibility in the United States upon hire
