Job Description
Accounting experts mapping real-world workflows for Mercor’s AI-lab engagements. Completing a detailed intake to improve accounting-focused AI training projects.
Responsibilities:
- Complete an approximately 30-minute written intake about accounting practice
- Describe day-to-day workflows, time allocation, and workflows core to the role
- Explain how experienced accountants divide the field using insider specialties and distinctions
- Share overlooked or invisible aspects of accounting work
- Help shape the scope of upcoming accounting engagements for AI labs
- Provide expertise for projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Practicing or recently practicing accountant
- Experience in public accounting, corporate finance, audit, tax, or advisory
- CPA or equivalent preferred; deep domain experience without the credential also welcome
- Willingness to write detailed, specific responses about the mechanics of accounting work
- Must not be an H-1B or STEM OPT candidate
