Job Description
Accounting experts documenting real-world workflows for Mercor’s AI-lab engagements. Shaping audit, tax, reporting, and GAAP/IFRS projects through detailed written intake.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a ~30-minute written intake about accounting practice
- Describe day-to-day workflows, time allocation, and workflows core to the role
- Explain how experienced accountants divide the field using insider specialty distinctions
- Share invisible aspects of accounting work that outsiders and project designers tend to miss
- Provide detailed, specific responses to shape upcoming accounting engagements
- Contribute expertise to projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Practicing or recently practicing accountant
- Experience in public accounting, corporate finance, audit, tax, or advisory
- CPA or equivalent preferred; deep domain experience without the credential welcome
- Willingness to write detailed, specific responses about accounting work mechanics
- Detailed and specific responses valued over polish
- Must not be an H-1B or STEM OPT candidate
