Job Description

Accounts Receivable Clerk managing invoicing, payment allocation, collections, and reconciliations for a UK-based business. Fully remote from South Africa during UK business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule
  • Allocate incoming payments and reconcile the sales ledger
  • Chase overdue accounts by email and phone, keeping relationships intact
  • Investigate and resolve billing queries and disputes
  • Produce aged debtor reports for the finance team
  • Keep customer account records complete and current

Requirements:

  • Experience with accounts receivable, credit control or bookkeeping
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
  • Confidence with spreadsheets and reconciliations
  • Clear written and spoken English for customer contact
  • A reliable internet connection, a working laptop and a quiet workspace
  • Availability across UK business hours
