Job Description
Accounts Receivable Insurance Specialist managing billing and collections for healthcare insurance claims. Collaborates with departments to ensure claims are processed and paid correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable in compliance with regulatory and billing guidelines
- Collection of outstanding receivables through payer portals and phone lines
- Responsible for accurate billing of insurance claims and following up on outstanding receivables
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure claims are processed correctly
Requirements:
- Must have Hospital Billing and Epic experience
- Ability to take initiative and accept direction
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with sensitivity and discretion
