Job Description
Adjunct Faculty for CFP© education courses at Kaplan. Responsible for course delivery and student engagement in a remote setup.
Responsibilities:
- Instructors are responsible for all aspects of CFP© education course delivery.
- Deliver educational content in a compelling and effective manner.
- Use best pedagogical practices to create engaging educational experiences.
- Remain current with trends, techniques, and advances in technology.
- Maintain open communication with students and provide constructive feedback.
- Complete other duties as assigned by deans, chairs, or program coordinators.
Requirements:
- A terminal degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline OR a master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline AND at least five years of financial services industry experience
- At least 2 of the following: Certifications or licensures directly related to the discipline area (such as CFP®)
- Publications, presentations, or other intellectual works related to the discipline
- At least 200 hours of teaching contact hours AND evidence of teaching excellence demonstrated via teaching evaluations, teaching awards, or student letters of support.
