Job Description
Amazon Advertising Manager guiding Amazon marketing funnel strategies and managing DSP campaigns. Focusing on data-driven media strategies and presentation of insights for stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the strategic and operational management of the entire Amazon marketing funnel, with a special focus on managing, optimizing and scaling Amazon DSP campaigns across national and international marketplaces
- You plan, build and optimize programmatic campaigns via Amazon DSP, including audience conceptualization, frequency strategies, inventory selection and creative testing — including Prime Video and Fire TV campaigns
- You operationally manage all relevant campaign processes, from budget allocation and bid optimizations to the setup and analysis of Retail Media and programmatic placements, including the aforementioned Prime Video and Fire TV placements
- You conduct detailed performance and attribution analyses, using data from the Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) in particular to derive precise insights across the customer journey
- You develop data-driven recommendations for cross-channel media and funnel strategies and present these confidently to internal and external stakeholders
- You use tools such as PACVUE to monitor, automate and optimize campaigns efficiently
- You produce structured reporting and dashboards, implement complex data models in Excel (including PivotTables) and ensure continuous development of DSP and AMC setups
Requirements:
- You have a completed degree in Marketing, Business Informatics, Data Analytics or a comparable qualification
- You bring at least 3–5 years of experience in Amazon Advertising, including a minimum of 1–2 years demonstrable experience actively managing Amazon DSP campaigns
- You have solid experience with the Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), including interpreting query results and producing your own analyses
- You are proficient with tools such as PACVUE, AMC dashboards, DSP bulk sheets or comparable platforms
- You possess very strong analytical skills, high numerical affinity and experience working with complex campaign and data structures
- You have experience in stakeholder management and in presenting insights and strategies appropriately for the audience
- You work in a structured and independent manner and have an interest in programmatic advertising, Retail Media and data-driven marketing
- You are business-fluent in German and English
