Job Description
Senior Manager, Asset Protection at Arc’teryx managing risk and loss mitigation to support North America Retail operations. Leading best practices and crisis response frameworks for physical risk incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role within the North America Retail team by supporting employees and business operations in all aspects of risk and loss mitigation
- Lead the execution of Asset Protection best practices, policies, and programs within assigned coverage area
- Work closely with retail store, field, and corporate leaders to identify opportunities, align on priorities, and establish consistent ways of working
- Manage and maintain physical security, shrink mitigation, and case management programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all physical risk incidents and emergencies within assigned area and support teams through crisis response framework
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Asset Protection, Enterprise Resilience, or Corporate Security experience, preferably in the retail industry
- Advanced learning and development, such as a post-secondary degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Safety, Security, or a similar business-related field
- Time spent in a government agency or military branch considered as a substitute in consideration of other qualifications
- Advanced certifications such as CFI, LPC, CLCP or other similar credentials
- Direct experience in shrink reduction programs, physical security solutions, and emergency response protocols
- Experience effectively communicating data to enable strategic decision-making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong advisor with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at a global level
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills and proven experience building high-performing teams
- Proactive in identifying root cause of issues and developing solutions
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- Seek the best (not always the easiest) solutions, with unwavering commitment to doing what is right
- Passion for work paralleled by passion for getting outside and living it
- Ability to travel up to 50% of working time.
