Job Description
Agency Development Manager for SafeLease building relationships with independent agents in the commercial property insurance space. Responsible for recruitment, training, and managing agent networks.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit high-performing commercial lines agencies and brokers
- Lead the appointment process and train producers on using the SafeLease portal
- Act as the primary point of contact for producer partners, conduct account reviews, and gather feedback
- Educate producers on insurance products and technology advantages
- Own the entire pipeline from initial submission through to bind
- Build distribution/referral relationships with existing property management customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years in insurance distribution, agency management, or wholesale brokerage
- Active surplus lines producer license is required (or relevant surplus lines experience)
