Job Description

Alliances Manager developing airline alliances, code-shares and frequent-flyer partnerships for Denver-based Frontier Airlines. Modeling revenue, negotiating contracts and supporting distribution integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build new revenue opportunities through new airline alliances, code-share and/or frequent flyer partnerships
  • Meet with, analyze, explore and prioritize potential relationships with other airlines
  • Evaluate frequent flyer mile earning/redemption options and integrated operational partnerships such as code-shares and joint ventures
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Network Planning, Ancillary Sales and Distribution
  • Perform revenue modeling
  • Develop new contracts
  • Track monthly and quarterly sales and operations
  • Prospect for new business opportunities
  • Analyze system integration opportunities and support ongoing NDC initiatives with the Distribution team
  • Support Field Sales and Marketing activities as assigned
  • Gather competitive and market information and relay key findings to senior leadership
  • Travel as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in airline sales, airline operations, distribution, account management/partnerships or similar areas
  • Strong knowledge of Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Competency with analytical tools such as Zenz, DEIO and SkySpeed
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of airline pricing and revenue management
  • Creative problem solving and revenue opportunity analysis
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contracts with multiple vendors and partners
  • Good analytical and forecasting skills
  • Willing and able to travel as required
  • Experience with airline networks, segmentation and distribution alternatives including NDC
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and quickly changing course based on business needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, organized and able to work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision in a collaborative team environment
  • Sound business judgment and ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
  • Ability to work on several projects at a time
  • Broad understanding of consumer databases and customer analytics
  • Capable of producing revenue forecasts and financial progress reports
