Job Description
Business Development Manager for LGC AXIO Proficiency Testing focusing on the South Korea and Japan markets. Developing relationships, acquiring partners, and driving sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and potential partners
- Identify, appoint, and manage new distributors
- Grow sales through both existing partners and new business opportunities
- Create and deliver business plans to meet revenue targets
- Manage and grow direct customer accounts
- Build relationships at all levels, from senior leaders to lab staff
- Handle and resolve any conflict between sales channels
- Promote new products and PORTAL reporting system updates
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings
- Work with the marketing team to support product launches
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Use Salesforce CRM to manage accounts, opportunities, and forecasts
- Provide regular updates and reports
- Develop commercial agreements in line with company policies
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a sales or commercial role within the science industry
- University degree in analytical or related science or excellent relevant experience
- Fluent in English – speaking, reading, and writing
- Native speaker Korean or Japanese with ideally familiarity with the other language
- Knowledge of the laboratory market in the territory
