Job Description
Applications Analyst II responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies at Boston Medical Center. Identifying opportunities to enhance business processes and advising on technology implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Align technology solutions with business strategies
- Identify opportunities to apply technologies to business processes
- Advise customers on information system technologies
- Act as a technical liaison with vendors
- Understand and recommend updates based on technology trends and best practices
- Gather and analyze requirements for software applications
- Test applications to ensure quality and user satisfaction
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues post-deployment
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration
- 2+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis or business unit experience with IT
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to translate complex concepts
- Understanding of project management concepts
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Previous experience providing IT Support for Research Administration/Operations
- System Administration experience with InfoEd and WCG Velos is a significant plus
