Job Description

Area Business Manager educating US healthcare providers and advocacy groups about NS Pharma’s rare disease therapies, including Viltepso. Managing territory engagement, clinical education, and cross-functional outreach across Florida, West Alabama, and Mississippi.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive awareness and education about NS Pharma’s rare disease product portfolio, particularly Viltepso, within the healthcare provider community
  • Lead discussions with physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals, and Centers of Excellence on clinical benefits, administration protocols, and patient management best practices
  • Educate stakeholders about the patient journey, treatment expectations, and therapeutic outcomes
  • Build and maintain relationships with neurologists, multidisciplinary treatment teams, hospitals, Centers of Excellence, infusion centers, clinical support staff, and patient advocacy organizations
  • Provide accurate, current information on NS Pharma products and Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy
  • Collaborate with key opinion leaders to advance understanding of product profiles and clinical applications
  • Analyze the assigned territory’s healthcare provider landscape, patient demographics, competitive products, and key accounts
  • Identify educational engagement opportunities and prioritize initiatives for territory coverage and impact
  • Gather and communicate regional trends, healthcare provider needs, and competitive intelligence
  • Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, and other internal teams
  • Connect healthcare providers with Medical Affairs for complex clinical inquiries and research opportunities
  • Coordinate outreach with internal leadership, Centers of Excellence, and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines
  • Maintain engagement records and submit timely reports on market insights and educational outreach

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Life Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales
  • 2+ years of rare disease or neurology experience
  • Background in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy or similar therapeutic areas highly desirable
  • Infusion experience required
  • Demonstrated success building relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, Centers of Excellence, and patient advocacy organizations
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to convey complex clinical information clearly and compellingly
  • High proficiency in territory planning, stakeholder engagement, and market analysis
  • Demonstrated launch experience in rare disease and/or neurology-related diseases
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a geographically dispersed region
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry compliance regulations
  • Must live in the assigned territory: Florida, West Alabama, and Mississippi
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
