Job Description
Assistant General Counsel managing commercial legal matters for Dandy, transforming the dental industry through technology and innovation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and legal compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Be a key member of the legal team, providing appropriate risk management across Dandy’s business while encouraging rapid growth
- Draft and negotiate Dandy’s commercial agreements with customers and partners, with an eye toward efficiency and mutually beneficial commercial outcomes
- Partner with cross-functional commercial teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Go-to-Market, Marketing to maximize ROI
- Support company initiatives related to product and market launches, pricing, go-to-market motions, and customer lifecycle matters
- Translate information security, technology, regulatory, compliance, and other legal requirements across sales, marketing, supply chain, and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Advise Dandy’s founders and executive team on legal matters generally and act as trusted advisor on all matters of risk
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a lawyer generally
- 4+ years of experience in commercial focused work
- 2+ years of experience in-house at a tech company a plus, B2B startups preferred
- A proven track record in executive leadership or a demonstrable ability to get there
- A JD from a top-notch law school, a degree in STEM a plus
