Job Description
Attorney for a cloud company managing contract negotiations for sales in the Americas and APAC. Ensuring compliance and supporting legal standards across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Support the go-to-market team by reviewing and negotiating customer contracts. This role will support the Americas and APAC.
- Lead complex cross-border transactions with sophisticated counterparties across multiple jurisdictions.
- Monitor and advise on relevant regulatory, compliance, and legal developments.
- Provide training, maintain and update policies and templates, and develop and improve scalable workflows to support and enable the company’s growth.
Requirements:
- Strong academic credentials and membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with strong training at a top-rated national or international law firm. Law firm and in-house experience at a high-growth technology company is preferred.
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and closing complex commercial software and SaaS agreements with enterprise customers, partners, and resellers across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of commercial legal issues related to SaaS and software licensing, professional services, and other go-to-market programs.
- Excellent judgment, strong business orientation, and ability to translate legal risk into practical commercial advice.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills and the ability to build trust with sales teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and customers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
- Experience supporting a high-growth infrastructure SaaS company is a plus.
- Experience supporting APAC is a plus.
